In addition to the training I undertook to graduate as a health coach, I have a long background in hospital Social Work. My training and experience using motivational interviewing and positive psychology combine to help you implement the behaviour changes needed to achieve your health goals.
My job is to help you understand why you do what you do so we can change your behaviour for the better. We also work on what you are already doing well and continue to strengthen your skills. Awareness is the first step to making changes and I will support you to take action towards your goal while making you accountable. The aim is to develop habits that become automatic and easy. Health coaches believe that the client is the expert of their own life, therefore, no advice is needed. We are a partner, not an expert.
We begin with a free discovery session to find out what you want to achieve and from there we assess whether we are a good fit for each other. The package provides 10 X 1 hour long coaching sessions to help you make life long, sustainable changes. The reason I offer it as a 12 week package, is to allow for instances when you cannot attend due to other commitments. If I cannot provide a session due to an emergency, I will reschedule at a time that suits you within that week. Payment in full is required prior to first session.
If you consistently show up, perform the action steps and remain accountable as agreed during sessions, you will get results. However, if after 30 days, you are not satisfied with your progress, we will provide a 100% money back guarantee. The more interesting question is ‘what if I do get the results I’m after’.
Sessions are conducted online via messenger or facetime. If you do not wish to use these apps, or the connection is poor in your area, we can discuss other options.
